Wow that painting and weathering looks excellent, the faded base color is very well done. [#toast]

The base color seems to light for dark grey and too brownish for dark yellow? (Perhaps it is my monitor) Also note the tracks are not sitting around the drive sprockets or on the top of the road wheels, the frames of the wondshield seems to have been missed painted, mold seams on the tires, and TONS of ejector pin marks on the undercarriage. Its a shame decent weathering over these basic mistakes.
Many thanks for your kind comments!
The paint and weathering look surperb. Looks to me like a faded whitewash with very realistic wear and grime. If I may throw this in, the second picture shows the rf inside bottom of the tire with two small overspray spots. You may want to rotate this tire so the overspray in on the top and then not visible. The underside could have used a more ‘dirty’ look to keep pace with the exceptional weathering up top.
Thank you very much for your kind compliments and suggestions! About the oversprayed tire on the second pic, I didn’t notice that at all when taking pictures. I guess the tire haphazardly turned from top to buttom and thus showed the oversprayed part. I’ll look more closely at the models before taking pictures in the future. I usually don’t show the undercarriage view, but due to the fact that I was unable to remove the engine cover to show the engine - despite my modeler had shown me how - so I took the undercarriage view instead. I still have another one of this kit in stock and will try to do better next time.
