hi everybody, I am planning on bulding a halftrack with some german infantry inside. THe box/instructions say to paint the figures german gray. However on a different box it shows the troops in some form of green. I want the model and figures for the western European front. If any one knows of a website or the colors that they use on their Germans would be helpful.
John, the term field grey is very misleading as the german uniform shade can be anything from a grey to a greenish grey. The colours highlighted by Dan are seem to be a good choice.
John, www.aththefront.com has alot of good source pics of uniforms. The cater to the re-enactor community and have alot of valuable info and reference pics. Look there and make the match with your paints.
Wanted to give you a follow up if you weren’t too far along yet.
