I did the stand alone 20mm quad Fakvierling with figures in a little vignette. Painted it RLM gray and used white oil paints to do a winter wash. Looking forward to what you do with this.

I’m not sure how to do washes on models or use oil paints. I usually weather mine with Tamiya pastels

Whatever works for you. Here’s a terrible pic of my kit lol

Looks fantastic, i mainly model to help with my PTSD,Anxiety, Depression. I try my best everytime, I should learn how to use oil paints, I can’t even paint faces.

You could get some diorama snow, I think AK makes the one I have, and put it on the flat areas as well, I did a tank and used it around the tank and I was pretty impressed with how everything turned out.

Thank you for the information and help. Greatly appreciated

I have used Woodland Scenics Snow with some success.

That came out really good.

That’s a really neat model. I built one back when I was in middle school around 1978 and really liked it. Back then, I used a thinned wash of Patctra Authentic International Colors flat white to do the whitewash - over the bare plastic.

I have a fresher kit that I am working on, but I fear I may have spoiled the nostalgia with metal gun barrels, PE and aftermarket tracks. I do plan on using the kit figures, which still look cool to me after all these years.

Looks fantastic, very nice diorama

You’re gonna like that kit. I built one back in the early 90’s and made it just like the box top. Nothing fancy, just the gray base color and winter whitewash roughly applied.
