Hi i’m jus asking does anyone know what is the colour of the 88mm round used by the Nashorn ???
Basically i want to know what is the colour of the tip of the round.
Am looking at a package of Tamiya Tiger I Brass 88mm Projectiles. On back of package there is a color guide.
It says: Capped armor piercing shell. Tip is XF-2, flat white; rest of shell is X-18, semi-gloss black; the shell casing could be brass or steel when brass shortages came.
High-explosive shell. Tip is X-11, chrome silver; rest of shell is X-8, Lemon yellow; the shell casing is again brass or steel.
So is the 88mm shell used in a Tiger the same as in the Nashorn? They are both 88’s…right?
