Anyone out there know of a 1/32 or 1/48 scale kit of this lovely chopper?
Has anyone built the airfix 1/72 version? What was it like?

Fujimi makes a 1/48 scale of it, but I don’t know how hard it would be to find.

Like Demon69 mentioned: Fujimi makes one, but also Heller had a 1:50 (darn those Heller Scales) which is better than the Fujimi; the landing gear on the Heller is not as oversized as on the Fujimi, which makes the Heller look a lot better.
I also built the Airfix Gazelle, but I’m affraid 1:72 is actually too small for this helicopter: the rotorhead looks way too massive on the Airfix. If I remember correctly, fit wasn’t too good either on the Airfix: I had to cut a major portion of the interior away to make the fuselagehalves fit. Must admit though: overall looks of the fuselage are ok, and can you complain considering the low price of the kit…

But there’s one on evilBay at the moment.
