Not sure why they get it and not GM
Hey Jason…Thanks! I think? Well I quickly ordered two of them. I will have to remember to cancel my two on ‘pre-order’ over at GreatModels. Or else I’ll end up with four. While that might not such a bad idea, I feel I’ll have a better time explaining two models charged on my credit card as opposed to four! Here kitty!

It’s a pretty kitty. I want to get another one and put a full interior in it. This kit is screaming for a full interior. DML has already given us a headstart with the small amount of interior detail in the kit.

I thought I cancelled mine over on GM, but apparantly they don’t automatically cancel a pre-order when you request shipment of ordered items that are in stock. I guess it’s fate. They must really want me to have this kit!!!
They keep the pre-orders totally seperate from regular orders. The only way to cancel a pre-order is to call them. You won’t regret it anyway!
would still be cheaper to order from GM/squadron than hannants, even with shipping
Pete- FYI you can also cancel pre-orders at Gm by using this site. (It has been disabled for a while, but it is back up now)

I’m going to. It will be my first Tiger, even if I don’t get to it until football season.
I discovered this afternoon that my pre-ordered Dragon Tiger 3-1 kits were listed ‘in-stock’ over on GreatModels. So I quickly called Squadron Mail Order and canceled my order of Two Tiger kits from them. Saved a few bucks! In case you are wondering I pre-ordered the Tiger kits back on 12/30/04.

P.S.- My pre-order on the Dragon SdKfz 251/21 Drilling was also listed as ‘in-stock’ too!
Same day I ordered mine and mine is also in stock. Must have been a surprise shipment, as GM said earlier mid-March.
And they got in the Dragon Sherman M4A1 too!

It spreads like the plague, doesn’t it. Explain to the wife it is an illness.
Mine’s on the way as well. GM came through in the end. I am not going to even open mine for a year. I don’t have the desire to build it, and since it’s a limited run, some collector may want it some day.
Now the tristar IV D is a whole different story. Can’t wait to get and build both.

Is it a limited run? Or one of Dragon’s limited runs where they release it again every few years? I guess either way, you can make a buck off of Ebay. One of those Sherman Early’s went for almost $60 last week and I got one fromGM today for $25
I am sick, sick, sick!!! I ordered the Sherman but apparently not in time to get it shipped with the Tiger. So what did I do? I went ahead and ordered the Drilling too!!! I think I blew past my Birthday and am now into next years Christmas presents!!
OK, here is the plan. One of us needs to go to Medical School in Honduras (or some other THird World Country where we can get a license with a check and a 3 question True False Exam). Then, this person will diagnose us with Acute Model Syndrom, or AMS. Prescriptions will be written for 2 kits per month, so those will fall under medical expenses instead of personal on our monthly budgets. Surely our significant others will not turn their backs on us while we are so sick.
