As I’m building Fw 190 Yellow 11 of II./SG 2 the camo pattern on the wings look kind of straight and not the usual pattern found on most 190’s.
Does this Montex mask profile look correct?

The edges of the camo look a lot straighter but I think it’s the angle of the photo.
I was thinking it looks more like the pattern you’d find on a 109 E.
Think I’ve found the right pattern for masking wings.

You’re going to get all sorts of variations with hand-applied camouflage, especially later in the war when factory-side austerity means more applications in the field with sometimes vague directions from command. Here’s another example at the Luftfahrt-Museum Laatzen-Hannover

Yes you’re right,there seems to be quite a few different splinter types late on and I’ve noticed II/SG2 had a couple of variation patterns on their wings.
