fun help needed.....help me beat up a german plane model (he111) with factory fresh paint!

the model is a 1:32 scale He111 from Revell i bought from a guy looking to free up shelf space.

as I await your weathering ideas , i put that thing under the bed…LOL the fresh paint on it is just UNBEARABLE [|-)]

oh, i need help especially with the glaring white parts of the decals of crosses, swatiskas and numbers.

Thanks to all in advance! [snWcm]

The first thing I do for weathering is paint chalking. I mix up some white added to the topside color of the plane, unless it has a camouflage scheme. In that case I just use white. I dial the paint flow way back so I can build up a very light tint. I use this on top of wing and tail surfaces. Then I shade top of fuselage to match wings, carrying a lighter amount of fading on to the fuselage sides. This make decal markings look faded too.

How about a picture?
