Fujimi - Nakajima Ki-44 Shokki - Tojo - 1/144

Hello Guys,

This is my last work, a Fujumi Nakajima Ki-44

Lets to kit:

The box comes with two kits, on Ki-44 and a J3M4 Raiden (that is on my bech), this box was released on 1995 to Celebrate te 50 years to end of WWII

This was my paint guide:

Some interior work,

Some building process:

Some painting work,

I use Vallejo Chrome to make a good metal finish to the model:

After the metal finish, I use the Salt thecnique to seal some parts and make the cameo,

So I paint with Tamiya IJN Green:

After the salt removed the result was this:

Under details:

Painting the markings…

Almost finished:

Finished and on his base:

Some idea about the size of the model:

So that´s it, thaks to see,

Lucas

Wow! you are by far the best 1/144 modeller I have seen. Are those PE seatbelts.[:P]

Thanks !

No, the only PE parts are the table with oil barrels, the seatbelts are made with tamiya masking tape…

I don’t know how you guys do those 1/144 kits, let alone one with a camo scheme like that. Outstanding work! You should be very proud of that little fella. [:D]

That’s a Great job.[tup]

How can you even see something that small.

Eric…

Excellent work Lucas [tup].

Regards, Rick

Thanks to all, [:D]

After construct a lot of 1/48 and 1/72 models, I have to change to something small, cos I don´t have more space to store build models… [:D]

Yes, Daywalkr, after to build this model, I stay really proud with this, I have to confess that this model let me astonish…

I almost missed this one. I had to do a double take! 1/144 WOW Looks fantastic I feel humbled working in 1/48. One of my mistakes would be bigger than your sharp looking Tojo.

You should be proud of this! When i opened this thread i thought (i wasn’t even going to have a look), ‘this is only 1/144, how good can it be?’ . I was blown away, that paint job using the salt method is fantastic. One of the best 1/144 scale fighters i have seen…[#toast]

Boomer…

Very nice work. Id never had thought using the salt technique would work at this scale, but it does. Top marks.

…Guy

Thanks to all !

Soon I´ll post my new job on 1/144

best regards to all and thanks to see…

I dunno, Frank. I just got commissioned to build one for an exhibit up here, and it doesn’t look so bad … but it’s a B-36B! [swg]
