Hi guys,
Just found a Fujimi 1/72 F-14 Tomcat at one of the LHS’s.
It looks awesome!!![:D][:D]
Superdetailed panel lines, 4 PE parts, rubber weels, a lot of options: exposed engines, 4 different types of exhausts, nice weapons, super decalsheet, …
And that for only 24.95 euro’s…
Can’t wait to get started, but forced myself to first finish the Lancaster,…
Has some of you guys maid it before?
How is the fitting?
Cheers,
Jürgen
I built the Fujimi F-14 years ago and I think you’ll love it. As well as the details you listed, it has excellent cockpit deatil being neatly engraved. The fit, I recall, was very good and not as complicated as Hasegawa’s. Take your time and test fit and you should be fine.
I built that model several years ago and I would agree with what bstrump said. It is a good kit and I am sure you will be pleased with it. Post pictures of the progress and finished product.

I’ve got it, but haven’t built it yet, it looks awesome, I paid $40AUD, I like fujimi kits, just they are usualy expensive, but recently my luck changed as I bought a brand new F/A 18A hornet with australian markings (I’m in Australia) for $24AUD, my local hobby shop selling it fpr $36 and another for $39.
at a recent swap meet I bought Fujimi: A6 intruder for $8, f4-phantom for $10 F/A18c stingers for $10 and in 1/48 scale: A4 skyhawk for $10:)
plus numerous others Hasegawa Revel etc.
I’m not the bigest fan of hasegawa by the way.
My local hobby shop has the Tamiya F-84 Thunderjet 1/48 scale on special @ $20, swo I got two of them, just love that one, already built one few months ago and it is fantastic kit:)
