FuG 200 for my Ju 188 D - 2 in 1/48 scale

Hello! I am looking for the FuG 200 Hohentweil radar, used on different German aircraft in maritime derivatives. For instance In the Torpedo and Reconnaissance versions of the Ju 88, Ju 188, Fw 200 and others. Anyone who can help?
Cheers Oystein

Are you looking for pics or actually something for a model you’re working on?

Hi! I am working on a Ju 88 and Ju 188 project about these aircraft jused here in Norway during WWII. To complete some of my DML 1/48 kits, I need those radar sets. A couple of years ago they were produced in etched brass by a company in Berlin/Germany, byt now they are out of stock. Cheers Oystein

Oh, I see. Well, I have seen pics of this radar, but I don’t have any actual sets. Sorry…[:(]

On my Ju-88 I made my radar antenna from fine brass tubing and fine brass wire and it came out fine.I drilled the tubing with a #80 drill bit and carefully threaded the wire through the tube to produce an inscale radar arrayWhich in this case was the Morgenstern(Morningstar) antenna.(I replicated the Ju-88G-6 on the rear cover of Squadron’sJunkers JU-88 in action part 2

Cutting Edge make a set of Fug 202, Fug 220, Fug 227, Fug 212, Fug 217 all in 1/48 scale, but no Fug 200. These sets are all cast brass and are intended for use with Me 110 or He 219. Look for part numbers CEC48200 through to CEC48213 if you want to take a look (under the resin bits and bobs).

I don’t know if it’s worth buying another kit to steal the radar, but check this out:
