This time 'round that may not be the case… this bird is tough and the clues given may not be helpful to anyone… matter of fact, now that I think about it, they may only serve to lead folks into a wild goose chase. If that’s the case, then my apologies, for I just didn’t know what else to do for a clue…
Matt, I did get your answer, yes. Unfortunately, nu-uh… LOL
Alrighty… miracle of miracles… we had a correct answer come in really late… the culprit was bjohns5 and he correctly identified this bird as the Gribovskii G-27.
Either you have quite a library or you spent some time lookin’ through 1000 aircraft photos… [;)]
(Lucky for you that I wasn’t able to post the answer when I’d originally intended. [:P])
Congrats guy! You’ve got the braggin’ rights for this round…
Now, as to those cryptic clues… the firearms manufacturer was GLOCK and the medical phenomenon was G-LOC. (G-induced loss of consciousness)
Again, in hindsight perhaps those were bad clues in that, in and of themselves, they may have led some folks on a snipe hunt. But they were meant to get folks thinking laterally and hopefully make some associations, albeit probably vague… and besides, as I’ve said, I just didn’t know what else to throw at you.
