FS numbers for the entire line of Gunze paints?

I have looked around for this, but the closest thing I have found is the color chart section over at IPMS Stockholm. Unfortunately, they only give FS numbers for a couple of their colors. Does anyone know of a place I can find the FS numbers for all of their colors? TIA!

Daywalker:

I found about 25 FS #'s listed on this site at IPMS Stockholm http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/stuff_eng_colorcharts_mrcolor_map.htm

I just picked up a Mr Color chart today this is the white numbers in the black box that most kits refer to. The chart is from their 2007/08 catalog.

I didn’t find any FS numbers for their paints numbered 1 thru 185. The RLM paints are in this range but not FS

FS numbers start at: 301 FS36081, 302 FS34092, 303 FS34102, 304 FS34087,

305 FS36118, 306 FS36270, 307 FS36320, 308 FS36375, 309 FS34079,

310 FS30219, 311 FS36622, 312 FS34277, 313 FS33531, 314 FS35622, 315 FS16440,

316 FS17875, 317 FS36231, 325 FS26440, 326 FS15044, 327 FS11136,

328 FS15050, 329 FS13538, 337 FS35237, 338 FS36495, 339 FS10681, 340 FS34097

If you need anything else let me know. The catalog is in Japanese as far as the writing but the numbers are Roman style. If you have a number or a name I can see if it is the catalog.

The catalog has this site listed http://www.mr-hobby.com/ I just went to this site and it is all in Japanese.

Ed,

Thanks for looking! The ones I am trying to find are H-54 (NAvy Blue) and H-55 (Midnight Blue). Too bad they give those, but I appreciate your taking a look for me! [tup]

Frank:

I have both of these colors. The H-54 is the enamel # and the Acrylic # is H-14 the bottle just says Navy Blue US Navy Aircraft and H-55 again enamel and Acrylic is H-71 Midnight Blue US Navy Aircraft. Neither give references to FS #'s. I have built a couple of Corsairs and I think either one or both of these colors are used. If so maybe a search for the color of the aircraft along with FS might yield something.

Happy New Year

Ed

I believe you have this reversed. H-54 and H-55 are the “water based” acrylics and (no prefix) 14 and 71 are from the “Mr Color” lacquer range.

Phil:

Thanks for the clarification. Everything is in Chinese and the LHS doesn’t speak much English.

Happy New Year

Thanks for the help fellas! I have used both H-54 and H-55 on a couple of my Corsairs, just wondered how close I was to the actual color samples. Thanks again! [tup]

Frank:

One of my unofficial resources states that H-54 is 15042 and H-55 is 15052.

I hope this helps.

Thanks mucker, that’s exactly what I was looking for. [tup]
