I used 5 Minute Epoxy, but Super Glue will work as well.
wouldn’t you also need to insert the kits vinyl retaining caps when you build the sprockets so that they can turn since the Fruilmodel tracks are workable.
It’s the Dragon Tiger II and I don’t think there are any of the vinyl caps for the sprockets but I will make sure when I begin the model. Thanks to both of you guys for the imput.

I’ve used super glue before, and that worked the best for me.
CA glue (super glue) is the best for attaching metal parts especially when you use the accelerator for curing the glue.
I’m sure the Dragon kit has vinyl caps because if it is the older release with the rubber band track then the runninf gear should be workable to let the track move.
I dug the kit out and looked. It is kit number 6232 which has individual tracks rather than the rubber band type so no vinyl caps.
well if you have a spares box with extra vinyl caps then you can use those on your Dragon kit since having the wheels removeable should aid in painting and weathering.
I hadn’t thought of that and I do have a few in my spares box. I will dig them out. Thanks for the tip.
Not to be confrontational, but most Friul Sprockets are designed with their own “axle” that rarely fits into the kit provided hole in the Final Drive. Most always I have to drill this out a couple of numbers bigger than original.
Plus, unless you are planning on playing with you finished model on the rug, there’s no real reason for the poly caps, especially with the Friul Sprockets. If you are worried about painting them, then leave them off, although, most of mine I assemble to the model prior to painting.
Here’s the latest I have done:

Point taken. As you can tell I am venturing out into new territory with aftermarket parts. I appreciate all the input I can get. Model looks good I’d like to see the finshed product.

well some have axles some don’t depends on the kit. I think I remember seeing a tank kit where the drive sprocket had a “male” axle that fit into the “female” opening of the final drive unit but I don’t remember which kit but I think the M4 Sherman might be an example. But the track set I have is for the M2 Bradley and it has a “female” drive sprocket which is hollowed out to accept the regular kit supplied vinyl retaining caps. BTW the M2 tracks are the early design not the late model M2A2 “Bigfoot” tracks of the M2A2. but as for the tracks being moveable it might make it easier to make a continuous track for diorama purposes versus picking the model up and setting it down several times when trying to make track impressions of your track. It might be fun to run your model on the carpet several times but don’t forget the tracks are held together by little pieces of wire.
BTW which Panzer is that I know its a PanzerIV chassie but it isn’t a JagdPanzer what is it?
