Fort Riley KS, tanks

I recently returned from a vacation that included a drive up the west side of Fort Riley, Kansas. There were two tanks, an M-60 Patton and an M-41 Walker Bulldog on static display outside the entrance to the SSgt David Q Douthit Gunnery complex. I took 31 photos of the M-60 which can be viewed in my photobucket site at:

Interesting photos. The flexible cover around the main gun barrel base seems to be in pretty bad shape.

Not really modelling related, but Sgt Douthit was a scout in 1/34 armor during Desert Storm. He was the only man in the battalion to be killed in action. The multi purprose range complex was named for him posthumously. fyi.
