Formation lights color?

Hi all. I’ve been around military aircraft and never thought much about this, but any idea what color formation lights are or what I can mix to get something close. They are on most modern military aircraft and look like a pale yellow when in the “off” position then go to almost a fluorescent green when “on”. Looking to paint them as if they are OFF. Have any of you painted them to look “off” and if so what color/shade did you use? Thank you.

Oddly enough, I recently stumbled across this older thread on the same topic. Perhaps it will help?

Hence the generic term “slime light.”
The lights are actually electrolumnescent a form of dielectric plastic material that glows when current is applied. So, they have a unique look on or off.

The material both absorbs and reflects light uniquely. Which is why it’s hard to find color photos that render the color uniformly.
So, it’s really a subjective thing.
Which is not helpful to your question. There are some decal suppliers who have slime light decals which can have good effect–but, you wind up being the judge of it.
