The biggest scale diecast kit of the Ford Falcon you’ll ever see. it’s 1/8 scale
This is the australian version of the Ford Falcon for 1971, with the factory GTHO option (Grand Touring Handling Option). 350 - 380 bhp (276 -291 kW) out of it’s tweaked 351 cleveland and a four-speed all-synchromesh manual gearbox.
The kit was semi-built (unfortunately) and pre-painted by ICON models. the body was assembled at the factory to get proper alignment of the doors, etc. it arrived in a massive box and only took a couple hours to finish assembly. I added a bit of detail paint here and there.
I’ve got a mate in Victoria with one of those…and it’s HUUUUUGE!!! And … very impressive. Makes an amazing display piece - he even bought the accessory display 351 to sit beside it.
That’s one I would like to see here . Especially in the two door version . Not fair . The Aussies have cars by certain names are better looking than their northern bruddas .
