Manuel:
here’s an interesting scheme 4 u:
altho’ seen here on a Dr.1, i believe this streaky green camo was also
applied 2 the DVII…
some say the base color was clear doped linen, others show it applied over a
light blue base coat…
either way i think it looks pretty cool, & no lozenge in sight !

Best thing to do is do decal searches at a few of the mail order places. The D VII had some very cool solid-color schemes, I’m sure they’re available as decals.

Anybody else have some decal places?
For an interesting change of pace, you might try putting it in U.S. Army colors. They acquired several of the type for their own use right after the war.
Dear friends:
Thanks for your response…your are right stickjockey, US acquire some Fokker D.VII after WWI, some used in filmes, others with engine test an so on, but by now, almost all pictures I saw (from Squadron in action books and some web site places) of US Fokker, they used lozenge scheme…in response to Jhon P about more decals places, I was try first at Aztecmodels:
http://www.aztecmodels.com/wwi/promo_ww1.JPG
but there are just Lozenge scheme…nice model frostygirl¡¡¡ is yours?
Best regards
Manuel
Here’s some pages which may give you some inspiration. Unfortunately, even the more flamboyant/colorful German schemes retained the lozenge pattern in some areas, mostly on the bottoms of the wings.
Fokker D.VII on the Wingstrut site - Three interesting schemes toward the bottom
Finnish D.VII - This is an interesting scheme
Lithuanian D.VII - This is kinda ho-hum, but different
If you’re looking for detail shots, this series of pages from the Memorial Flight website has pretty much all you could hope for…
Memorial Flight Fokker D VIIF Project
There’s much more out there…
Fade to Black…
Wow¡¡¡ thanks BlackWolf 3945 Take 2, I saw all four of your recommendations and al are great¡¡¡
I am liked the Lithuanian D.VII, it’s a easy two color scheme and with very nice white cross, maybe I started my Fokker with this scheme in mind and with the cockpit detail’s pictures from the Memorial Flight web site at hand to detail my model.
Thansk a lot
Manuel
