Hi All, As a follow up on my post a couple months back…Just thought you all would want to know that the new Flying Machines 1/48 Fiat G.55/S and Fiat G.50 Serie ll are now available thru (shameless plug) MISTERKIT in Italy.
I have a production sample of the 1/48 G.55/S and the new 1/48 Fiat G.50 Serire ll.
The Fiat G.55/S:
Wow…You guys will like this one…You may want to use all those old CA G.55 kits for BB practice …really…as this one is sooo many light years ahead.
The kit comes with beautiful recessed panel lines, a fully detailed interior with resin and photo-etched parts. Detailed wheel wells (a nice touch) a “correct” nose profile and spinner, tail is for a late model so check your references if you want to build a serie0 a/c you will have to wait for MISTERKIT version of that kit which should be out later this year.
The kit comes complete with two lower wings, one for the G.55 and the other for the Twin Radiator G.55/S Torpedo version…Yes the torpedo is also included.
The Fiat G.50 Serie ll is also a great effort, Fully detailed resin and photo-etched engine and interior. Correct tail, correct wing…all the stuff we all had to buy resin aftermarket stuff before to make a accurate representation…Its all here in this kit.
All in all…A great effort on both kits. Get these while you can as the Flying Machine kits seem to dissapear fairy quickly.
