Are you thinking of doing another FAAs build?
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Right now I’m Just being nostalgic. There was a time when this Group Build and the forum was an escape for me. I made many close friends that I never met and we shared much about our lives as close friends do, Now that over a decade has passed, It has become a good memory. As far as modeling it motivated me to constantly challenge and improve my skills. I got pretty good at putting all kinds of things together. There were fellow modelers here that never got past step one on the instructions but it never mattered as much as a bunch of fellows with a common interest just having a bit of fun. That was the magic.
Gotcha gotcha.. Definitely nothing wrong with being nostalgic!
Its funny, I’m surprised that I didn’t initially see the GB when you first posted it as I would have joined.
That’s why I asked! I am annal in regards to how and the way I build BUT, I don’t let it stop me from doing something I enjoy.. More importantly, I enjoy the friendship(s) created!
If you ever decide another GB, look me up!
Happy Modeling,
Mike
Ya know… I still haven’t finished my Tamiya Sea Harrier for this GB ![]()
Remember it well-think I participated in the first two versions-I think it rotated between US Navy & FAA-might be wrong though…anyway great people & builds, some laughs & some history learned (the great thing about GB’s, at least for me)
If someone fires it up and sets the guidelines, I could probably find a kit in the stash (or elsewhere) and participate.
