Flat varnish?

Hi all,

I want to use a flat varnish over a current project I’m working on. I’ve heard that you can mix Tamiya’s flat base with Future but would I need to use a bit of tamiya thinner in there too?

I don’t thin it, I just spray it as-is. I use about 4 parts Future to 1 part Flat Base for a really flat finish or 5 parts Future to 1 part Flat Base for a semi-gloss finish. Right from the bottle it’s thin enough to spray at about 15 psi.
