I just sprayed my first over coat of FUTURE ever!!!
I’m not sure what it is supposed to look like…I definately didn’t put it on to thick…in fact it looks more like a orange peel layer…
I was careful not to overdo it, but I thought I sprayed a fairly generous amount…It doesn’t look like it’s going to level llike I expected…(It has only been 2 hours so far)
Should I apply a second coat (before decaling) or will it level out (I have heard it has great leveling properties)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to try to raise the air pressure a bit. Usually when you get orange peel with Future, it’s because of low air pressure. (I also got OP with high pressure also, but mostly with low)
If you didn’t decal yet, get the finest wet/dry sand paper and LIGHTLY go over the subject. Just enough to knock off the orange peel. If that works, bump up the pressure a bit and try a couple of passes on a scrap model or something else plastic to see if you got the pressure right.
I shoot my Future coats undiluted. I use a Paasche single action at around 35 psi.
I lay down a medium coat, i.e. not to thick, not to thin) and it does level out nicely. The first coat doesn’t give a real gloss shine, the second does. Then the decals and then dull-cote or whatever.
See what happens and post back.

I sprayed future…first coat was light (an Orange peel layer) I didn’t want to over do it and have puddles. I then went back and applied a second and 3rd light coat. Maybe a little heavier than my original OP layer. The model has dried for 36 hrs. and looks great…I’ll go on to decaling, and final detailing before my last coat of future!
