First Tank Model

Looking for suggestions for building my first tank. I’m Thinking Tamiya, 1:35 scale and maybe something with a one piece tread. Any suggestions?

The very first model tank I built was a Tamiya Panzer IV Ausf J "make sure you choose none Zimmerit version"or you could go for Tamiya Sherman quite easy builds.

I should have asked what country, but the Tamiya Easy Eight is a real nice build, and the one piece track works well for a Sherman,no sag to worry about.

Maybe one of the Tamiya M1 Abrams. With Russian and German tanks they build nice, but with the one piece tracks you need to worry about adding the sag to the track.

The Tamiya M41 Walker Bulldog is a great starter kit for the novice armor builder.

Tamiya are a good starting model you could also look at Meng and Takom they go together very well and have nice details , but some of them have tracks that need to be put together . these look better than one piece but can be time consuming.

I agree, Tamiya would be a good choice. My first armor kit was a Testors M4 A1 Sherman. A Tamiya Sherman would be an excellent starting point, IMHO.
