Howdy. I sometimes post on the Armor and the Aircraft forums. Recently I decided to try and paint a figure. The chosen subject was Andrea’s 90mm 1863 Union Sgt. The detail was pretty amazing, and the construction was relatively simple (compared to single link armor tracks anyway [;)] ) First time I’ve used oil paints. For some reason the camera or the lighting make his hand look rather spotty, but I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it in natural light. Maybe too much drybrushing on the knuckles. Anyhoo, just wanted to see what you guys thought of this neophyte effort. Forgive the last shot, I thought it looked kind of art-ish and it was fun trying to age it a bit in Photoshop. [:D]
