Mine was a Panzer IV by Hasegawa. I still love that model.
Ended up putting it in a diorama with a kubelwagen and a
blown out building with some guys preparing to fix some
lunch of a recently shot rabbit.
LOL, mine was the old Tamyia Sherman tank. I wrecked it though.
Airfix 1/76 M551 Sheridan.
I don’t remember exactly what it was. I was about eight and there was a model store next to a Mexican resteraunt where my family would regularly eat. I would go and look at all the model kits while we waited. I had only built aircraft with my dad until that point, but I had a few bucks in my pocket and I bought a 1/72 scale German tank, I think it was a Panther but I couldn’t tell you which. I still don’t know which German tank is which. But I was very pleased with the results. It was the first kit I built totally on my own. I painted it Olive Drab with a brush and applied brown camoflage with a Q-tip in almost a polka-dot pattern. I wish I still had that tank.
Mine was a Tamiya Churchill tank. Still got it too. i use it to put my spare coins in [:)]…its all olive drap, and it was my first decent weathering attempt. Real happy with it.

Mine was an M2A2 Bradley, and it one first place at its first show, a great honor in my book.
Academy’s Merkava with mine rollers. Before that, i thought all models were cars or planes.
