Finnish Infantry Question

Does anyone know a good set of Plastic Finnish Infantry in 1/35?

If not does anyone have any ideas on what I’d need to do to alter Germans in the M40 uniform be Finns?

Thanks for the help.

I favor using Google Images for searches.

For instance:

A lot of other information was called up by typing in " WW2 Finnish Uniform "

If anyone knows of 1/35 Finnish infantry figures, they most likely would.

Hi Fallschirmsjager!

I’ve been reseaching the topic for some time and to my knowledge there are only two figures available on the market.

The first is a resin figure of the Finnish Field Marshal Gustaf Mannerheim from an unknown manufacturer:

The second is a resin figure from Warriors:

This one is very nicely molded and detailed. I strongly recommend it.

You can find it for sale here:

In the two Finnish kits from Tamiya - the BT42 and the Finnish Stug III - you’ll also find a Finnish tank commander.

If you want to do your own conversions I recommend a thread I posted a couple of years ago on the subject:

If you want to build a Finnish tank crew you can checkout two other threads I posted:

Good luck with the Finns!

It looks nice, but unfortunately the pose isn’t what I’m looking for. I think I’m going to have to use early war German troops and convert them, I kind of suspected that from the start to be honest.

That tutorial should do the trick though, thanks very much.
