Just some finished pics. I’ve been working on these two on and off for about two months now, and both are part of an upcomming dio. The M-18 is for the Tank Destroyer GB on this forum (Who knows where its at now)

Well done, beautiful finish, two nicely executed vehicles, the complimentary weathering should serve them both well in a diorama.
Regards,
Terry.
Damn they look good. Two questions: How did you do the cam netting on the M18? What did you use to depict the tarp over the cab on the 2 1/2 tonner? Thanks for posting
Sweet builds Zoran. The weathering is well executed. The bed of the Deuce looks quite nice and dirty. I’m thinking the netting needs more weathering to blend in better. Just MHO.
Great job on those 2 kits, Zoran. If I remember it correctly, you are planning to put this two on a dio. I can’t wait to see that too.
Beauty, ey…Outstanding work Zoran. A couple of your best. Great AB technique weathering the OD…
regards,
Steve
They both look great Zoran. Great finish on both of them.
both models look outstanding![wow][tup]-- we see many tracked vehichles on these pages and your m 18 looks great but, the tamiya 2 1/2 ton really caught my eye-- there is just something about the whole package that looks great-- very well done – i like it![:D]-- treadwell
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I did not notice until the pictures, but the truck has some glue in the window, which I’ve now cleaned up. The camo netting was done with tissue paper tarps rolled up, then when dry, coated with spray adhesive and peppered with parsley. Tigerman, you’re right, I do think the camo needs a bit of blending. I’m going to airbrush a shade or two of flat green, then overspray with a very thinned dust coat to blend it all in.
Thanks for posting your pics. I love Allied vehicles. One thing I noticed though about the equipment on the truck’s bed. Are you supposing that the tubes have been stacked in that manner to be unloaded? If the truck moves, they would topple, right? Just a thought for you.
Yes, the setting of the dio does take that into account. The truck is parked, while part of the crew unloads equipment.
Great job on those builds! The weathering is very well done, good job!
both of them look great zo, can’t wait to see the dio. keep postin man!!
beautiful work zok, having had a 3 month break from building these are inspiring i especially love the truck , very nice thanks for the look.
Sharp work. Nice tip on the camo rolls. I really like the tires and bed on the 21/2.[tup]
Hi Zo,just recieved the FSM newsletter and you were mentioned as having a CCKW and an M18 done so came right over to see them,I gotta say they both look mighty impressive! I like the finish on both and I must try that netting idea. The forthcoming dio should be well worth the wait, very nice work Zo.
lol I just saw that. Thanks for the compliment. I gotta say you’ve been a great influence to my dio work, and I tried to study your style while working on this project. It just made me realize how far I still have to go [:)]
Thanks for the mention FSM.
