Very nicely done. you picked out a great color scheme.
A nice clean build with enough weathering to look realistic without overdoing it.

This is one of my older models, I hadn’t heard about wheatering with chalks then, but it worked out nicely with Humbrol rust.

I got a couple of these kits the last time Hobby Lobby had the 1/2 off sale, as well as Revell’s 1/32 and Tamiya’s 1/48 scale P-47’s (I guess you might figure I like P-47’s) and for 1/72 this is an excellent kit!
For doing in combination with aftermarket decals, Arii makes a nice inexpensive kit also.

Nice work, I like the Revell kit. I did “Big ****** Bird” using that one, seems to be getting hard to find though.
