Finished Mig-29 (with pics!!)

Hi guys,[8D]

Here’s my 1/72 Hasegawa Mig-29 Fulcrum.
From the Russian Air force, handpainted in Humbrol colours (127 & 31).
Nice model to build, but the K-36 seat is really bad, I replaced it by a sparse Heller one from a Mig-29 UB.
Fine engraved panel lines. I only need to give it a satin coat, as soon as I have an airbrush ( or can it be done by hand? Does anyone know?)
To give it a nicer finish and to seal of the decals.

All comments welcome!

Cheers,

Jürgen[}:)]

Hi Jürgen,

Your Mig looks good! You hand painted it? Nice job! Thanks for sharing with us.

Darren.

Nice job!
Ya gotta love the Mig-29… what a great plane.

Yes, Russian jets and WW2 RAF planes are my favorite!!!

Cheers,

Excellent work, Jurgen. Very nice, clean build like your usual work.

Take care,

Mark

Looks good Jurgen!
For satin coat better use the airbrush or a spray can.

Pretty darn good build. A few crticisms however, the 2 grey panels, the rear one is WAY oversize. Also, it should match the panel lines and a have a sharply defined outline. One last thing, your rear canopy doesn’t quite match with the front one. Like I said before, nice build. (The grey panel problem is easily fixable.)

Great job!

Looks pretty good to me. An aerosol can of flat clear would be an easy way to get the flat finish. You probably should spray some on a scrap test piece of the same paint to insure compatibility before risking the entire model.

Very nice indeed - the colours are spot on.

Looks pretty good from here. Thanks for sharing.
