I didn’t realize just how large this bird was in 1/48 scale Dave. Looks like you’ve got your painting and weathering skillsets down pat.

Dang it Dave. One heckuva outcome on this beauty bud. Pretty good size model and you must’ve used up a ton of paint in getting this one painted up. lol

That is one impressive Tomcat! The weathering and paintwork is top notch. All of your hard work has definitely paid off. I’ve never been able to get a plane to look that good. Congratulations.

Nice job! How was the kit? I’ve never done an AMK model. I’ve also never seen an AIM-54 in that position. She sure is looking ready to put the hurt on someone!

Thank you very much. The kit is wonderful; everything fits perfectly. My only issue is with the side of the fuselage, which is slightly oversized where it meets the fuselage. Nothing that can’t be fixed with putty and sandpaper. It’s a kit meant for leisurely building and enjoying.
