Hey, y’all! This is my seventh build this year, fourth since furlough began April 3rd. I go back to work Monday, so yay[:(]. I picked up this kit at Virginia Beach’s Hobbytown on clearance. Had a nice photo etch fret, but some of the pieces wouldn’t fit, like the rollover panel that goes behind the seat. Kind of a shame, it would’ve looked great. The wing fit was uber sloppy. But it got worse when I applied the hinomarus backwards(almost found the wall, there)! I have to say, I really like the look of the Hien, tons of cool schemes! Maybe if I find a Tamiya kit for cheap…and yeah, forgot to paint the tailwheel[:$]
Looks great! Did you paint the camo? I know what you mean about Dragon/Cyber Hobby kits, I have a love/hate relationship with them.
I did paint the camo, used a brush. I feel like I left too much natural metal exposed, but I tried to follow the instructions. It was the most fun part!
Looks great! Great photography too.
Nice job [Y]
Thanks, y’all!

Love the comparison.
It is a small aircraft. I don’t have a pic, but the tip of the Tony’s fin just touches the Corsair wingtip.
Nice job. Really cool cammo
