It took a little longer than I expected, but I think it was worth it.
The figures are Verlindin with some slight modification and I used the AFV ammo set.
My concept is, a gun crew relaxing between fire missions in the spring/summer of 43, somewhere on the Eastern Front.
Comments and critiques are welcome, please let me know what I missed.
V well done! Can post some more close up shot especially the loading mechanism part?
looks great ackman. I really like the look of the gun.
beautiful piece ackman i cant see anything i would change, this gives me an idea for something i have planned, i really like it a lot well done.
You brought the concept of your dio across very well.Very nice.
Looks good to me. I like the the scene.[tup]
Great job especially like the relaxed scene I wish that kit manufacturers would spend more time on relaxed poses with there kits.
Excellent peice! Good Job![:D]
Man, I’ve wanted that kit ever since it came out. Yours is very well done. Any pros/cons? I wonder if AFV will come out with a 150mm?
ackman, VERY VERY VERY nicely done! I love the build and the dio puts a final accent on a very nice build!
Looks great ackman! I have this kit in the stash, what did you think of it?
Beautiful piece. Well done.
Good job!
The AFV club kit is pretty good. IT does require a little patience with seam lines, flash, some of the part alignment. The one thing that I really didnt care for was the breech assembly is three seperate pieces, that didnt fit together very well, so it required filling and sanding. No big deal usually, but the breech is the focal point of the gun.
I wound up looking at alot of wespe pictures for reference, there just arent alot of good pictures of the towed version that I could find.
All in all, it was a good build. I learned a good deal, that is what is important to me.
