Coming along nicely! Is this going to be a diorama?

Some more done on the rear deck, with mounts for the tandem winches and there control stations, and the fifth wheel installed.

Here are the contents of the box, and then Shushu gets underway. The first steps are gluing together a mailbox, painting a bird, and then assembling some plants.

Unfortunately broke a peice that was lost to the floor monster, so i had to scratchbuild a replacement, it should be covered by the trailer but it is what it is. I also added lines for the chain oilers on each rear axel

Got around to getting the paint on the iron dome. Not entirely sure how I’m going to weather it. I had a difficult time with the primer. I most likely had some time of oil/residue on the surface that I didn’t totally get rid of. Might take a short break for a few days and work on my 1/32 Lancaster.

Pretty much finished painting, need to add decals next, and add a few more pieces. going to go back and fix some overspray from the paint

Very nice. Your detail painting (strap 'n stuff) is exquisite!

The Dragon is (mostly) done! Now on to the wagon. Ive left some parts off for either separate painting or so i can separately attach the cab, so far everything but the 50cal is either scratchbuild, in the kit or the eduard photoetch but ill probably add some resin stowage from the bits box

Incredible work, you guys! And fast, too!

Absolutely right!!! Very nice work, especially in the time used. I’ve got the Hellcat and Dragon Wagon kits so I know what you’re dealing with. Well done.

Put decals on, weathered, and flat coat

Absolutely floored! Stellar job! Tell us a bit about your weathering process. Did you catch any process photos? And what’s the next step? Do plan to base it or are you calling it finished?

Thanks. For the weathering i just used a brown wash, used tamiya panel accent around lines, then used ak fresh mud to make some streaks. worked on a base, might make another one that’s bigger, as currently it’s hanging over the back

Im spent, the trailer was a pain in the butt, and ive just about lost Patience with it, luckily its 95% done, and almost ready for paint. Ive set it aside in my cabinet while I start on the D7, and loaded a knocked out panther from a past project on the back. It just fits inside, i definitely need a bigger one

Fantastic progress! What was giving you a hard time on the trailer?

Just about everything, especially the metal parts. The instructions are unclear in many parts and the fit was overall poor. Honestly felt like it wasn’t a tamyia kit, but the tractor was great so i guess its a give and take. The hinges for the ramps were poorly designed and it kinda ruins the build if there not perfect

About half done with miniarts d7 dozer engine and sweet baby Jesus is there a lot of parts. 74 just on what ive got so far on the engine, some are literally microscopic and others are half eaten by the sprue. Still looks nice, but this build may take me a few days (weeks)

It’s an extremely detailed kit, and yes many of the parts are super tiny—and fragile. But your engine is looking spectacular. Keep it up!

One thing the kit doesn’t have is the diesel injector tubes (a weird omission when you think of all the other things it includes). Were you thinking of adding them, or were you thinking OOB?
