Does anyone make a conversion for the fin fillet on a Hasegawa bubbletop P-47D the kit does not come with the fillet. Or does another company make a kit with the fillet included. thanks JOHN

1/72 scale Bought a box off a friend of mine. Thought there was one kit in it there was four. Interested in doing a couple of the ninth air force “Tar Heel Hal Big ****** Bird”
Don’t know of any aftermarket fin fillet kits or sets. Try some sheet styrene cut to fit. In that scale,it won’t take much effort.
Revell-Germany has very good 1/72 P-47M/P-47D ( I think it is the best 1/72 P-47) and comes with the dorsal fin as optional part. Panel detail is very much better than Hasegawa or Academy kit. Cockpit interior details almost equal to the superdetailing with Verlinden resin and photoetched parts. Cowl flaps in open position.Detailed undercarriage bays and the only 1/72 P-47 kit with the correct position of the wing machine guns which is parallel to the horizon rather than the leading edges of the wings.Also, nice asymetric propeller.
