filler question

Hi everyone.

I have sanded smooth the filler and sprayed the undercoat on it. I noticed some defects.Do I have to remove the undercoat totally from the filler underneath or just sand the paint a bit?

I usually just give it a light sanding. have not had any problems as a result.
