do you guys know that type of camo that looks like green and red brown squiggles for lack of better words on a dark yellow background used on the Tamiya FAMo, and other halftracks. please how do you do that? i am haveing alot of trouble? help
ok. You are talking about a 3 tone camo scheme. The base would be dark yellow withe red brown and dark or olive green squiggly lines.
to get this you will Deffintely have to use an airbrush. For this a double action would work the best, but if you only have single action it can be done to, just a bit harder. Just spray a base or Dark yellow, and then, if using a single action, put on the finest tip. you will have to place it close to the model to get the fine lines and spray quickly, if you stay in one place to long the paint will run. Thats really there is to it, just lots of patience.
