1/144 Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket produced by Shadow 3D Models. Picked this up at the Madison Nats last year and couldn’t wait to get started on it. The 3D print is excellent and all of the rocket nozzles are separate pieces!
Decided to make it represent the first GPS Block 3 satellite launch on 12/23/2018. Printed up custom mission decals for the payload fairing. Painted with acrylics and lightly weathered with oils.

Excellent work! I saw some of Shadow3d’s resin printed rockets at the local model show last year. They seemed like good representations. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the one I wanted (Saturn 1b).

It is! Chris over at Shadow 3D produces some really nice space-related kits. There were absolutely ZERO fit issues. The only problem I ran into was I broke one of the rocket nozzles and there weren’t extras included. I contacted Chris and he sent me an entire replacement set for FREE!
