I am building a Tamiya 1/48 Corsair and am planning on painting it the typical navy blue color scheme. I was wondering though if the interior end panels (the visible ribs) on the flaps are the navy blue or the zinc-chromate undercoat. It appears that the “hidden” skin on the flaps that folds back under the wing are blue. Help on this question is greatly appreciated.
All the color pics in the “Detail & Scale” books show the “hidden” portions of the flaps, ailerons, elevators & rudder as the camo colors (glossy sea blue in your case).

yep, I’ll back pix up on that one, I had that question for mine as well, and all the pics I looked at showed it being the same color. basically split half and half , top color/bottom color.
