I just picked up the 1/32 kit and was looking at the decal sets avalible for it. Man! There’s alot of sets out there for it!! However, I’m looking for something other than the regular grey schemes. I don’t like to do Aggressor schemes and I was going to do the CF-18 Tiger Meet bird but would rather take advantage of some the ordenance than comes with this kit. The pics I’ve seen of the Tiger Meet bug showed it unarmed.
Is there a list out there somewhere that shows all the sets currently avaliable and/or being released in the future?
If you can provide enough reference material, you might be able to talk some company like TwoBobs into producing a set. I’m still a little put off that there are not USMC decals for that kit yet. I emailed TwoBobs a while back and they said they were in the works. We’ll see.
If all else fails, if you have the reference material, you could have a one-off custom sheet made.
theres this CAF decal sheet…not a tiger meet one, but colorful nontheless

If you are using the Academy 1/32 scale kit don’t forget to convert it to an A model! The kit kepresents a C, but the Canadian birds are A’s. Didn’t knw if you knew, but thought I would let you know anyways. I am waiting for Academy to re-release that kit as an A so I can do a Canadian one to go with my C. A 1/32 Tigermeet aircraft would look impressive!
Well, I haven’t decided yet as to if I’m going to do a Canadian bird. I have found some colorful US stuff, while still low viz, they do have some pretty bright tails and other markings. I’m in no rush. This kit won’t get touched for many months. I have at least 5 or so kits in front of it. Including a Trump A-10.
Same with mine. I’m going to need a lot of time to do it justice. Right now with school, work, and a powerplant test I can’t seem to get into it! Mine is going to end up in the blue and yellow VFA-15 “Valions” markings by CAM. My old high school mascot was the lion, so that’s why I picked those decals. I would like to do a 1/32 model of the Canadian “Melennium Hornet”. The 1/48 version is on Leading Edge Models’ web site. Knowing my luck I’d convert it to an A and Academy would release one!
