I am building ProModelers F-84G and I am a bit confused by the probes sticking out of the wing tip tanks. The model has probes extending from the starboard and port tanks but the decal pacement diagrams show either one or none extending from the tanks. The box art does not show any probes extending from the tanks. A review of model galleries on Hyperscale an Aircraft Resource Center typically do not show any probes extending from the tanks. Are these probes retractable? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks for your assistance in advance.
I thought Pro Modeler just put on a crude refueling probe on each tank to leave it to the modeler to decide. I personally, ran into the same problem you did when I built mine. I found few referances of the tanks with the probes on so I cut them both off for a clean look.
