F-4E Phantom 526th Ramstein AB, Hasegawa 1/48 scale

Fantastic build Phil, she looks an absolute stunner.

I don’t suppose you have a photo of the scoop?

It isn’t the best pictures, but it will give you an idea on where it is located.

I love this thread!! First a picture of a Ramstien jet I worked on then a picture of a Seymour jet I spent a lot of time on! Good ole’ 74-1649. That was one of my favorite jets. It was the only one that had all the parts for the APX-76 IFF system synced together so it actually worked (APX was the nightmare system for us Comm/Nav guys).

Hey Bernie, what decals are those?

Thanks Berny, That will be in my next one for sure.

Lovely work on yours too[#toast]

I have no idea. I did a Google search and came up with the model.

Hey Eagle, I work on the F-4’s down here in FL as drones and if I’m not mistaken we have 649 as one of our manned flyers. I’ll take a look at work and let you know if you’d like.

I’ve been wanting to build an F-4E but could’nt find the proper model for it. Your built inspired me to go on with my plan but I could’nt find the model you built in the Hasegawa catalog. Is it really an F-4E or an F-4E Phantom II? That is one great Phantom you’ve got there.

Now I know why these are called fast movers… flew in so quick I didn’t notice it 'til now. Glad i did 'cause it sure is a beauty. Well done.

Ohhh, verry nice. Now, that would look really nice parked next to my A-1E!

Phil excellent work I am currently building an F-4C phantom monogram 1:48 kit I came across yours and really like the paint scheme can you please tell me what colors they are

Nice clean build, love those Hasegawa Phantoms, and I love using your wash, great stuff

Very nice Phantom!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Phil has been on FSM since 2008. Nice looking Phantom, tho. [:D]

I agree this thread is 7 years old. Its not even promodeller anymore its Flory wash
