Here are some pictures of the 1/32 scale Revell F-4E I am working on.
[:)][tup]Looks good Berny, I like the way you did the instruments and switches, very realistic, keep us posted with the resy of the build.
Regards,
Darren.
Lookin good Berny, very realistic, keep us updated.[^][:D]
nice job. Sure helps to have been around the real thing, doesn’t it.
Thanks everyone. Yes Wayne, it does come in handy having first hand experience.
As you can see, there is still a lot of work to be done. The top part of the rear instrument panel comes from the Tamaya F-4C/D kit. A little modification and it fit perfect. I still have to add the wiring harness to it though.
Very nice work, berny
Looks good berny. Keep the photos coming.
Just started work on the seats. I am going blind, so had to take a break.

Looks great berny .I like the decals on the seat too.Your build reminds me of little plastic phantoms I use to work on.Haha just kidding with ya.
Nice work so far. Keep us posted.

Well, I used to work on the little Phantoms too. Only difference was mine were 1/1 scale and noisy.
Thanks every one. I have a lot more time to do more model building, now that I am stuck in the house and can’t go anywhere.
Hey Berny, I know what ya mean… I’m housebound too! Gotta disabled ol’lady to take care of[censored][sigh][:-^] got several projects goin’ & your pics’ll help with my 1/48scale F-4J. I look foreward to many more pics! Keep up the good work!!
Eddie
The F-4J cockpit is not the same as the F-4E. The rear cockpit has vertical consoles, no flight control stick, throttles, and the antanna hand control is located on a pedistal below the main instrument panel. I hope you have very good references when building it.
Berny,
That’s an awesome looking tub. Very detailed, very realistic. Cant wait to see more.
I have some decent books on the F-4 but, ya know how the cockpit shots are for the most part… I’ll use your pics for some of the refs. I know there’s some differences. I’ll be using the legend cockpit set in my J.
Eddie
Excellent, care to share what technique you used on the instrument panel?
again very nicley done!
