F-18E Drop tanks question

Howdy guys!

A few weeks ago I did a search for resin drop tank alternatives for my Revell F/A-18-E. I came across another forum where someone had the same question. Revell only provides 1 tank. So another forum member suggested the Legend Resin kit #4049 providing a link to Lucky Models in UK. Si I did ordered from them. They arrived and I noticed that they are different from the one provided by Revell. I went back to the forum topic to scroll down and read that those tanks are not for the E/F versions [:'(].

I have to blame myself for not doing all the homework, but Legend fails to mention this on their product. Will I have to cannibalize 2 more hornets to get those tanks?

Since you already have one tank, scratchbuild a new tank using the original as a pattern. A pretty simple shape to try if you haven’t done much scratchbuilding.

Make sure that the centerline and wing tanks are the same.

Thanks Bronto, but I don’t have a slight idea on how to replicate this from scratch [:(]

Do you mean or suggest that I should remove the stock tank and install the 3 resin ones?
