What paint did you use ? That looks better than the too-dark Blue Angel Blue right out of the bottle.

I used Model Master Blue Angel blue

I built it in it’s original Monogram boxing about 15 years ago:
I can’t remember what color I used, but I think its pretty close to the actual dark blue color of the real aircraft. The real color is pretty darn dark! I think the Model Master Blue Angels Blue is way too light.

That simple old build is straight OOB, painted with a rattlecan of Model Master spray…but I really can’t remember what color. Sea blue? Hmm…
