You can look here and see what you are looking for.
Most of the practice/inert weaponry that is carried is either painted light blue or has light blue bands around the body of the missile. And I have noticed that some don’t have fins, either.
Thanks for the info!
According to the instructions it’s equipped with AIM-)L/M, AGM-65 and GBU-16A/B LGB
Pics would be nice ![]()

Depending on what country it is the dummy missiles can be bright red or orange aswell. But fro the training missiles i have only seen the blue ones, but as a depot level aircraft mechanic i don’t get to see the planes with a lot of weapons on them.
The reason that Vipers fly with dummies on the wing tip in peace time and not just an empty launcher is that it actually improves the aircrafts aerodynamics by acting as a sort of winglet and reduces wing tip vorticies.
For inert ordnance,
For the F-16/Air Force, the AIM-9’s had the wings and fins installed. They would be painted tactical grey with medium blue bands around the forward part of the rocker motor and the aft part of the warhead. The GBU-16’s would be painted MM Dark Green with a blue band two inch aft of the nose. The AGM-65 would be also MM Dark Green or tactical grey with a blue band around the forward and aft part of the missle. The Guidance section of the GBU-16 would be a slightly different shade of green from the bomb body, the colors hardly matched when we built them. Hope this helps,

Thank you all for your answers!
Very useful information, that I’ll try to practice on the kit I’m building.
Cheers
