F-117 Canopy

I have the revell canopy to do but its small and i dont know how to get the small Zig-Zag masked. any ideas?

put tamiya tape over it and with a pencil go over it like your coloring in and you will see the form of the the lilltle edges and you can cut it out with a hobby knife then put it on simple

I used plain old Scotch Brand “Magic” transparent tape on mine. Easy to do as the canopy is all flat planes-no curves-and using a good light and a new sharp Exacto blade, trimmed away the excess. This worked for me on all three of the 1/72 scale F-117’s I have worked on (only one I ever completed though) and my 1/144 scale Nighthawk. Just don’t use a lot of pressure and take your time. Tape can be lifted away carefully when done.

Use liquid mask before you put the clear parts into the frame.

Paint, then remove carefully with a sharp #11 blade

Bare Metal Foil works great, too. Just follow the same instructions for it as the other materials mentioned above.
