A mackerel is a fish that I would bet is in the freezer locker belows decks in your Sangamon. Yes that was a compliment.

If you upload your photos on a photosharing website each will get a URL. We all seem to like photobucket, the basic service is free. Then you paste the URL into your post here, between[img*] and [/img*]. But do not use the “*”; I had to put them there to fool the host computer.

But I’ve got to say man, with the quantity of stuff you have, that we coming to you works real well.

Great work, and thank you.

Allright, you want my address? I would be glad to meet you!

And most of all, thanks for the compliment, and No there is no fish down in the ship I have only detailed the hangar bay, thats all!

I still got hundreds of pictures, which I will start to upload om my new website, but I promise that I will post some of them here too!, Just take a look at my latest post of the Kaibokan versus the Mitchell.

Here is my favorite picture of my carrier sofar (Until my friend Albert will take some photos and starts to do so some of his “magic”

And as you can see even I have figured out how to post pictures here, it just took a while!

Great job!!!

Where did you get all of the figures? Did you modify certain kits to get all of the different poses?

Todd

Yes,Sir. “HOLY STINKIN’ MACKEREL” is a compliment. No, it’s a expression of utter amazement, awe, mystification, intense pleasure, profound respect, and absolute, green-eyed envy.

Sorry. It didn’t dawn on me that the expression might not cross the pond too well.

Those are the most astounding models and vignette’s I’ve ever seen.

Hi Todd,

thanks for your comments on my little ship.

The figures came actuall from all sources I could findd. BY far the best are from Hecker & Goros, I knew them both personally and I had the honor of making those little gun sights for their last 2 figures for the Gato Class Submarine. Another source was mbm models whom I knew personally too. Most of the rest came from Airfix, Revell, Preiser, Heller and so on, totally exactly 423 figures on the whole ship…and it will take some time until I will touch a figure again!!! And yes I modified quite a few of them to get different poses.
