Enlarging Formula?

Is there a formula for enlarging intruction camo schemes to the right scale?

I have an intruction page that says the side views are reduced by 60% and the plan views by 45% from 1/32 scale.

Is there a formula for working out what percentage I need to blow them up back to 1/32 scale?

Reduced by 50% means scanning at 200% but the odd numbers are throwing me?

Thanks for the help

For a 60% reduction, enlarge by 250%. For a 45% reduction, enlarge by 182%.

The best way is to figure out what the actual 1/32 size is which you can figure out simply by measuring your model or from actual dimensions of the aircraft divided by 32. Then measure your drawing to determine what size it actually is (I do not trust other people when it comes to telling me scale or percentages). Then simply divide the actual 1/32 size by the size that you have and you will have the amount you need to enlarge by. For example: say the 1/32 size needs to be 32" and your drawings are only 18". Divide 32 by 18 and you get 1.78. You need to enlarge your drawings by 1.78 times or to convert to a percentage 178%. Its easier to calculate if you can measure in metric. Hope this helps.
