This is a small mini diorama I did several years ago depicting cattle being taken for nefarious purposes by black unmarked helicopters.
This diorama is based not just on the UFO folklore of cattle mutilations, but also on the old 1980’s sci-fi movie titled “Endangered Species”.
I didn’t have a small helicopter that was seen in the movie, so I used one from the 1/144 scale DRAGON “Operation Geronimo” kit. The kit had 2 helicopters, but I only used one. Still haven’t built the second one yet.
The grabber unit under the helicopter was scratch built from spare model parts. All the cattle and scenery are model railroad products except for the fence. The fence was scratch built from flat toothpicks. I decided not to paint it and to leave it plain to give it that “natural” look.
