Hello all- New member, first post.
Really for any UK modellers out there- is EMA Models still a going concern? They ‘stock’ a hot wire cutter that I’ve been after for a while, but there’s very little about the company on the net.
It’s a good deal, but £120 + P&P is still a lot of money to part with on a wing and a prayer.
Any help/info much appreciated.
As far as I know they are still going.
Their main bias is towards the architectural and petro chemical model maker, but stock many useful general modelling items.

You can probably find the same thing in the Micro-Mark catalogue!
Not sure that you can get all the Plastruct ABS plastic extrusions and mouldings that EMA stock from Micro Mark. But they probably stock the polystyrene ones.
I particuarly like the Plastic Weld Liquid Cement as it bonds other plastics as well as polystyrene.
I also think that Plastic Weld Liquid Cement is a good choice.
